Meet the Management
 

Dr. Fanning was named Executive Vice President in June of 2002, after having joined AgriLogic in July of 1999 as Director of Benchmark Analysis and Livestock Specialist and serving as Vice President of Research and Development since December of 2000. As Executive Vice President, his duties include assisting the CEO in the operations of the company including defining and implementing processes that enhance the efficiency and profitability of the company, development and monitoring of the short and long term business plans, measurement of employees’ performances, designs and creates monthly accounting and statistical data reports, and manages the quality control process and team.

Prior to joining AgriLogic, Fanning was an Assistant Professor and Extension Livestock Specialist for the University of Florida. Fanning has extensive experience in planning and implementing risk management programs and educational programs in the area of livestock management and production. He received the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension Team Award for Educational Programming.

Professional Association memberships include American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists, American Society of Animal Science, Society for Range Management, National Cattlemen's Beef Association, National Association of County Agricultural Agents. Honor Society memberships include Gamma Sigma Delta and Sigma XI. Fanning serves as an ex-officio member of the steering committee for the Coalition of American Agricultural Producers (CAAP).

Fanning holds a B.S. from Angelo State University in Animal Science, M.S. from Clemson University in Animal and Food Industries and a Doctorate of Philosophy from Texas A&M University in Reproductive Physiology.

Mr. Johnson joined AgriLogic in 2002 as Chief Operating Officer. His duties include assisting in directing AgriLogic operations, including planning, recommending, coordinating and implementing programs and policies. He is responsible for managing the daily operations of AgriLogic to maximize efficiency and the quality of work in order to provide a consistently high level of service to clients.

Prior to joining AgriLogic, Mr. Johnson was a principal in an executive
search firm, with clients ranging from Global 1000 companies to international management consulting firms. While there, he was responsible for consulting with clients concerning their senior-level employment requirements. In addition, Mr. Johnson had primary operations responsibilities within the firm.

Mr. Johnson possesses a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University.

Tom Blinn is responsible for AgriLogic's technology infrastructure and software development activities. Blinn has been involved with designing and developing a data management system for agriculture production data. Using this data, he has engineered software to assist in the research and development of crop insurance programs. The software focuses on calculating projected crop insurance payouts at the county level, as well as calculating producer crop insurance premiums.

Prior to joining AgriLogic, Blinn served in several executive capacities, particularly in the operations and technology areas. His areas of expertise include operational budget management and financial oversight, product management, information systems development, and management and partnership negotiations. Blinn has over fifteen years experience in all aspects of development and research, including design, specification, development team management, research project team management, software production and information technology management.

Blinn graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Computer Science.
